Piatti’s patio is one of the larger outdoor dining spaces in the La Cantera area: 60 seats overlooking the Eilan courtyard and its fountain, with bistro lights strung overhead for evening dining. It is a five-minute drive from The Shops at La Cantera and The Rim, with free parking and complimentary valet at the door.
The Space
What the Patio Is Like
The patio is uncovered and open to the courtyard, with umbrellas for shade over the tables in summer. There are no heaters, so on cold evenings and in rain the patio closes and the dining room takes over. Well-behaved dogs on leash are welcome on the patio. Tables seat two to six, and larger tables can be joined for groups. The fountain runs through dinner service, and the bistro lighting comes on at dusk.
Patio seating is weather permitting and first come, first served for walk-ins; reservations can request the patio and the host will seat you outside when a table is available.

The full menu is served on the patio: housemade pasta, wood-fired pizza, salads and seasonal Italian dishes, with wine and cocktails from the bar. Piatti opens at 11:30 AM daily and serves until 9:00 PM Sunday through Thursday and 10:00 PM Friday and Saturday. Happy hour pricing is honored on the patio as well as at the bar, so Sunday’s all-day happy hour works at a patio table.

The patio hosts private events for up to 60 seated or 110 standing: rehearsal dinner welcome parties, birthday cocktail receptions, company happy hours. It can be combined with the Fontana Room or the whole restaurant for larger events.
